Yank Shi, born in China in 1941, has led a life shaped by curiosity, learning, and creativity. He began his career teaching English in Yantai, China, and later earned a master’s degree in Linguistics from Fudan University in Shanghai. He continued his academic journey at the Dalian Institute of Foreign Languages before moving to the United States in 1986. There, he pursued further studies at the University of Colorado at Boulder, earning master’s degrees in both Linguistics and Fine Arts—blending his passion for language with artistic expression.

Yank’s professional path later expanded into the business world, where he successfully operated a semiconductor manufacturing company for two decades. Now retired, he dedicates his time to writing, drawing inspiration from his diverse life experiences.

He is the author of six books: My Three Human Lives, a reflective memoir; Interstellar Roaming, a cosmic adventure; World’s End and the Sea Angle, a fusion of reality and fantasy; The Kingdom of Wisdom; as well as Boundless Love and Eternal Love. Through his works, Yank continues to share his distinctive perspective on life, humanity, and the universe.
